At Indosole we are constantly doing our best to raise the bar in the recycled and upcycled materials game. This year, we have yet another big development which aims to inspire conscious consumers worldwide.
The fashion industry is one of the most wasteful industries in the world. According to the World Resources Institute, the fashion industry produces around 92 million tons of waste each year. Furthermore, they estimate that the fashion industry's water footprint is around 79 billion cubic meters - equivalent to the annual usage of 5.7 million people.
Indosole is a wealth of resource when it comes to fashionable waste materials and supreme manufacturing. That's why we at Indosole are passionate about doing our part to reduce our environmental impact and be part of a solution. We were fortunate to meet the team at Pable who are based in Surabaya and have a unique method of recycling textiles into thread and rebuilding it into super soft premium materials
We are excited to announce our partnership with Pable! Together, we have created a sandal collection where we incorporate the recycled fabric that Pable creates.
That's right, in 2023 you could be wearing a pair of sandals that went from someone's old Tshirt to your new sandals! Cleaned and sanitized of course :)
